You can Believe!!

“Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.” Joshua 3:5
Get ready to let out a loud AMEN! The story I am going to recount was in the national news media (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX) the Tuesday following Easter Sunday. It is a true event and another opportunity God has taken to show us his power so that we may believe that Jesus is Lord, the Son of God and that we have life in his name! Hallelujah!
A mother in Argentina went into labor with her 5th child three month early. Upon the baby’s birth, it was a girl, the hospital staff told the family it was a stillbirth. Later that day the mother and father visited the morgue where their baby had been kept in refrigeration for the last 12 hours. They asked to see their baby as the mother was naturally distraught and wanted to see her baby before the funeral. As they opened the casket the mother said her baby was covered in a white sheet and there was frost but the mother said she heard her baby cry, and "I fell to my knees." On Wednesday the baby was in the hospital but was listed as being “in good health”.
The couple originally intended to call their fifth child Liliana Abigail but have since changed her name to Luz Milagros, which means "Miracle Light." "This is more of a miracle. In my family we are believers, and now our faith in God is much bigger, "the girl's father, Fabian Veron, 31, said. Could not have said it better Mr. Veron! Almighty is your name!
Then Jesus told  him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciple, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:29-30

She clothes herself in STRENGTH!

I found this one special piece of paper tucked in among  some photographs in a box my mama kept. Let me read to you the first part... "Taipei (Taiwan) Oct. 6 It is almost midnite and I just got home. The Real You

We all like a certain amount of control in our lives. Some of us like more control than others. That control or the appearance of having control also helps us give to others the appearance that everything in our lives is under control. Many of you have probably seen the movie "Monster In-Law" with Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez. This movie, to me, is so funny I laugh through the whole thing even though I have seen it half a dozen times or so. Even thinking about it makes me laugh.
